Unscrambling Your Tax Code

The Revenue has announced that, following a pilot scheme in south west England, more than 20 million taxpayers will be receiving new style PAYE coding notices over the next few months. The new style is intended to improve understanding of how tax codes are calculated. The Revenue reckons that about 20% of all enquiries made to them each year relate to tax codes.
